One of the most enjoyable things to do in Venice Beach is go for a bike ride. You’ll notice in Venice that many of the locals get around by bike. You’ll see bikes parked along the Venice boardwalk in front of restaurants, stores and places to get a cocktail. People in Venice Beach ride for relaxation, fun and exercise. If you want a serious bike ride, the bike trail that passes through Venice Beach is actually over 20 miles long. To the north you have Santa Monica and Malibu, and directly to the south, Marina Del Rey. The bike path to the south continues all the way down to Torrance County Beach. The Venice Beach bike path runs parallel to the Venice Beach Boardwalk, so there is plenty to look at as you move along. If you need a bike, you can rent one on or around the Venice Beach Boardwalk.
